'Overacheevers.com' is an exciting new forum aspiring to evoke current opinion and debate on many topics across the world of media and current popular culture. Lorraine Cheevers (a broadcast media professional who has worked both in TV3 Ireland and Sky TV New Zealand) established the website with the intention to entertain, inspire, provoke thought and rouse ideas among people.

"The reason I set up the website was two-fold, I have long-term writing/reporting goals and I thought it would be a fun outlet! For many years I have studied and worked in the Communications arena - in the fields of Television, Radio, Music Business and Management.

In recent times, it has been difficult for some of us to gain steady employment so it was only a natural progression that I should create a job for myself! A few projects are under-way but this website being the the maiden one, I would appreciate any feedback especially from other media professionals.

My mantra has always been to believe in myself, always aim to act out of my full potential and persist accomplishing, whatever the goal - hence the title pun! A trying feat these days..yet I am really excited about this new venture - there are no limitations here!! So have fun commenting - I look forward to hearing from you!"
