Showbiz: Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have split!
Since last september after reports of an extramarital romp with a 23-year-old cutie in a San Diego hotel, Ashton Kutcher's marriage with wife Demi Moore seemed to be on the rocks. Of course it didn't help that he decided to have this liaison on the couple’s six-year wedding anniversary. 
After the alleged incident Ashton Kutcher at the time tweeted a denial using the Public Enemy anthem, then
followed with this doozy:
“When you ASSUME to know that which you know
nothing of you make an A** out of U and ME.”
Moore, 49, and Kutcher,
33, tied the knot in September 2005 amid a media frenzy focused on
their age difference. In happier days, the couple posted on Twitter
playful pictures of their
life. That bliss appeared to have continued through this summer judging
by their tweets.
However, after months of speculation Ghost actress Demi Moore has released a statement today announcing her intentions to divorce, saying "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred and it is in that spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give anyone going through a similar situation".
After the news broke that he had gotten the boot, the Two and a Half Men star fired off a
retrospective tweet: “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi.
Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and
unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.” That's big of you Ashton!
Despite his online declarations that all was well, the couple had reportedly been living apart for months, and in October sought a little camping-trip counselling from their Kabbalah instructor, Rabbi Yehuda Berg.
Back in September, an unnamed source told Star magazine of their developing
discord: “Ashton was a serial cheater, and Demi just couldn’t take it
anymore.” Poor woman. The age difference is irrelevant - no-one deserves to be cheated on and if reports are true that it was a regular past-time for Kutcher, shame on him. They seemed like a lovely couple too, pity.
