Beauty: Back to the Collagen Pod! - Part 2
Nobody, and I mean nobody, calls me chicken(!) so off I went, back to the collagen pod for another 'out of body' beauty transformation in Chartbusters. In fact I decided to go for their 'Five Alive' Package this time which is one of six 'red light' treatment packages on offer at the DVD Rental store.
Each package combines sessions of pure collagen pod therapy with additional stints on a Vibro-plate (should you wish the additional body stimulation) and range from €21.95 (1x pod treatment/€24.45 with Vibro-plate) to €340 (21x pod treatments/€490.95 with 21 Vibro-plate sessions included).
The idea is that a 12 minute stint on a Vibro-plate before you use the collagen pod can tone you and is supposedly as good as an hour workout at the gym - better than a ride on a hovercraft if you ask me! 
Vibration Training on the Vibro-plate is a non-strenuous, low impact method of toning that takes only 10-12 minutes, yet it is meant to achieve greater results than conventional training without the effort. I visibly noticed the blood pumping up my legs, thighs, hips and straight up to my stomach area and towards the heart - just what most women like to hear when on a quest for good health - movement in blood circulation and increased heart rate!
After an all-round tighter feeling through my loins, it was then time for red light therapy take-off in the 'pod'. In recollection of my first session - under those unflattering red bulbs, I could see every scar and stretch mark on my body. I have to admit after three sessions I saw a noticeable difference in the fading of these scars. I have now come to enjoy the search for body blemishes where I can tamper with this space/time continuum in the hope of reversal. Using the collagen pod was clearly my density, I mean my destiny! 
When you consider treatments that rely on injections, skin intrusions
and chemicals, pure collagen therapy really is a better anti-ageing
option in my opinion. I mean even from a medical point of view it's designed to heal cuts and abrasions too. Hello, McFly? It's a no-brainer.
Chartbusters are also offering a range of skin care products to try in conjunction with this red light therapy. Red-light ST do a post-therapy body lotion that aims to minimise the appearance of cellulite (recommended after a pod session), a face lotion and a spray aiming to have the same impact on fine lines and wrinkles. They each have a gorgeous delicate fragrance not too dissimilar from strawberry essence.
Through collagen treatments and Vibro-plating, I will continue to travel back through time. I could conceivably encounter my younger vibrant self and while the consequences of that could be disastrous(!), hell I'm willing to give it a go every time.
