Showbiz: Michael Jackson is out of your life... so beat it!

rightI think it is just horrendous how, with every passing day, more and more controversial news and gossip leaks about Michael Jackson's life, his death, his family (particularly his children) his legacy and his fortune.

Okay he was a legend. An icon of his generation. He will quite naturally and quite rightly be renowned for his talent, forever.

But merely a year has passed since his death and the memory of his 'human' self is still not permitted rest. It is evidentially clear that his family, close friends, celebrity pals and fans all around the world are absolutely devastated by his loss and will be for years to come.

But the fallout from his death, the suspiciousness surrounding it and the subsequent controversies and negative summations that followed are sadly becoming mere tabloid newspaper fodder - much of it due to his own family who are adding insult to injury by commenting to various media sources. But most shockingly to me, is that some celebrities are actually using the music legend's loss to their own advantage. You know who you are Chris Brown! Appalling. During his tribute performance where he copied Jackson's dance moves and sang a medley of Jackson's songs, Brown 'broke down' mid-song and wept for hero Michael. In a statement later he said: "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired." What had actually transpired later again was that rapper mate Lloyd told Brown to deliberately break down so he could win back favour with the audience after the whole Rihanna scandal. Flabbergasted.

The month of June saw enough Jackson headlines to feed a depraved Big Brother contestant for a week! Firstly his parents were reported to have fallen out after his death. Clearly sadness turned to anger when his father Joe Jackson blamed his mother Katherine for their son's death. "In Michael's final months alive I said to her, many times, that I couldn't get through to him - and that she needed to help her son." He told the News of the World that if she had listened to him their son would still be alive! Later the former manager admitted he should have done more himself!! Katherine Jackson then spoke out against her husband in the form of her attorney Adam Streisand calling Joe's allegations "outrageous" and that his behaviour is inappropriate. "The world knows Mrs Jackson has always been a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and she had a very special relationship with Michael," Streisand said. He added: "The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget." So sad that they turned on each other when they are both obviously just feeling the loss..

leftNext we hear Michael's brother Randy Jackson was admitted to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena after experiencing mild chest pains. Randy had previously been supporting his family in court against Dr. Conrad Murray, who is accused by the family of being involved in Michael's death. It turns out 48-year-old Randy suffered a mild heart attack due to stress (I think his parents should stop arguing). Though speaking to CNN recently, Randy stated that Murray should be charged with first-degree murder. These revelations obviously proving stressful on each member of the family.

It seems sister LaToya Jackson feels the same way. She claims the singer who passed away in hospital after being injected with a fatal dose of 'propofol' on June 25, 2009, was murdered for the rights to his back catalogue. LaToya told GMTV: "I never had a doubt. You must remember from the day that I found out that Michael was no longer with us, when my mother screamed 'he's dead' on the phone, I just went into this, 'Who did it?'. "Michael was murdered for his catalogue - that's the bottom line. He was murdered for his catalogue and they knew that, and they knew Michael was much more, worth so much more dead than alive." Earlier this week, Billboard magazine estimated that Michael's estate has raised approximately $1 billion (€800 million) since his death. LaToya continued "his children deserve the truth. I think his parents deserve the truth, his family and his fans. Personally I think it is a slap in the face, not just to Michael but to the entire family. It's totally unfair, it's wrong and it was not an accident." Apparently his mother Katherine has also come to believe that Michael was murdered.

Michael's other brother Jermaine Jackson has stated that he reckons Islam could have saved Michael. he told BBC World Service radio that he often tried to convince Michael to convert to Islam and leave America as he felt that living there was having a "cherry-picking effect" on the popstar. "I felt that if Michael would have embraced Islam he would still be here today and I say that for many reasons," he explained.

rightMeanwhile mother Katherine has enrolled his children Prince Michael (13), Paris (12) and 'Blanket' (8) into a private school beginning in September. Sadly due to her late son's lifestyle she has admitted that they have no friends and she wants to stop home-schooling them. They have also spent time with Michael's ex-wife Debbie Rowe. All these moves are aimed to help their socialisation and come to understand who they are. Katherine recently said of the singer's three children: "They don't have any friends. They don't go to school... to them, it's normal, it's the life they have known."

Brother Marlon Jackson has also confirmed that all Michael's kids are also very talented performers and reckons they have budding careers in the entertainment industry. Marlon told In Touch Magazine: "I truly believe that God blessed this family with the gift of music to make people happy all over the world. "If the children want to become performers, that's fine with me and my mum, but they also have to get an education." Referring to sister Janet Jackson, older brother Tito added: "Janet will do anything that she feels is necessary for her niece and nephews."

Toward the end of June, Joe Jackson filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who is accused of injecting the late popstar with the drugs that killed him. The lawsuit seeks more than $75,000 (€60,000) in damages and accuses Dr. Murray of negligence. It also claims that he was poorly trained and dishonest.

'Meanwhile back at the ranch', Michael Jackson memorabilia has sold for $1million (€794,000) and he has topped the UK record sales list. It just demonstrates how Michael Jackson is the most sought-after and most collectible celebrity of all time - many celebrity fans even trying to get their hands on his wares. Phenomenal. Currently, his mother is claiming her boy was misunderstood and is in talks to make a film about the real Michael. His sisters are saying his kids will never get over his death and his reflective brothers are saying he harmed no-one, even innocently faking a high singing pitch in order to sound like a little boy in many of his much loved songs!?! It seems even after his death, everyone has something to say about Michael and everyone still wants a piece of him. At least Mariah Carey only wants his furniture.
